It sounds like the exact same problem, low fuel economy almost 24 mpg which is shocking never mind expensive to run, Idles at a higher rpm around 1250 and when light comes on (EML) the car lacks power at low revs then just seems to take a kick up the !Removed! and is running like a stallion.

2011-12-20 19:36:09 čauky,jsem nový člen Ford klubu,koupil jsem mondeo 2007 typ co máš ty také combi s motorem 1,8 TDCi,a bylo mi řečeno,že tento motor má řetěz a ten se mění cca ve 200 000km,tak jestli to máš asi nejspíš stejné seč máš 2,0 TDCi tak se nemusíš obávat)Mám najeto 152 000km,a taky to neřeším,a cenu radši nezjišťuji.
